What's On

After the success of Glitz, at the Roses Theatre in July 2024, we have now booked the same venue for our next big production in June 2026.  Watch this space to find out what we are doing.

This year is our year off from a larger show, enabling the children and young people to have a more relaxed approach to their sessions, back in their smaller groups learning the craft in an age appropriate way. We may undertake some smaller performances throughout this school year.

What's new to Acting Up!

This Autumn has seen the start of our brand new class Acting On! in Churchdown on Saturday mornings, designed for young people aged 15 plus to really enhance and develop their existing skills. (More information in the section about classes.)

Acting Up! has teamed up with Active Impact to ensure we are able to welcome more children and young people with SEN or neurodiversity to access our sessions. This year we welcome Yves Clatters who will be assisting the sessions and ensuring everyone has the support and adjustments they may require. We both have a heart for the cause and want to ensure that every person is able to get the most out of drama and build their confidence in a fun and productive way.

We are also running workshops and themed sessions in schools and other youth organisations, as well providing one to one LAMDA examination tuition.

If this is something of interest, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks Emily
